He joined the military in 1990 and has been deployed multiple times.  He served in the first Gulf War and again in Operations Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq).  He was honorably discharged in October of 2016. The stress of multiple deployments has, unfortunately, had a negative impact on his life.  He is currently separated from his wife and teenage son.  Tragically, his family home suffered a devastating fire in January 2017. The financial assistance from WHOH will assist this hero greatly in rebuilding his home and life.
